Beppe Signori

Guiseppe, known as 'Beppe', was born in Bergamo near Milan and started his career with Leffe in 1984.

He progressed through the ranks and joined Foggia in 1989, winning the Serie B title the following year.

In 1992, Beppe joined Lazio where he finished as top-goalscorer in Serie A three times in 1993, 1994 and 1996.

After a brief spell with Sampdoria under Sven-Goran Eriksson, he moved to Bologna in 1998, spending six years with the club.

He made 28 appearances for Italy, including at the 1994 World Cup in the USA where his side were beaten in the final by Brazil.
