Bryan Robson

Bryan started his playing career with West Brom in the 1970s, before a £1.5million move to Manchester United in 1981 where he would spend the next 13 years.

As captain of United, Bryan led his team to Premier League titles in 1993 and 1994, tasted victory in the FA Cup three times during the 1980s and collected European silverware in 1991 through the European Cup Winner's Cup.

As England captain, Bryan led the Three Lions at the 1986 and 1990 World Cups and the 1988 European Championships under manager Bobby Robson.

Bryan retired from playing in 1997 after becoming Middlesbrough's player-manager in 1994, remaining in the North East until 2001.

He had further managerial spells at Bradford City, West Brom and Sheffield United.
