Gary Mabbutt

Born in Bristol, Gary made his name at Tottenham between 1982 and 1998, where he was captain for 11 years between 1987 and 1998.

In his second season at Spurs, Gary won the UEFA Cup and lifted the FA Cup as captain in 1991.

Gary is also an icon off the pitch, having played his career while suffering with Type 1 Diabetes and havingworked as an ambassador for South African charity Street Child World Cup during the 2010 tournament.

He's currently a Global Club Ambassador for Tottenham, the FA and Prince's Trust, as well as Hon Vice President of Diabetes UK.
