Paul Gascoigne

'Gazza' is one of English football's most iconic and loved stars. He made 57 appearances for the Three Lions between 1988 and 1998, including starring performances at both the 1990 World Cup and the 1996 European Championships.

Born in Gateshead, his career began at hometown club Newcastle, before he moved South to Tottenham in 1988, winning the FA Cup with Spurs in 1991.

His next port of call was a high-profile move to Rome, where he starred for Serie A side Lazio between 1992 and 1995, before a hugely successful spell at Rangers – where he won the Scottish Premiership and Scottish Cup between 1995 and 1998.

He wrapped up an incredible career with Middlesbrough, Everton and Burnley, but is best known for his performances with England.

A life not without its controversy, Gazza's incredible sense of humour and love of a good football story has seen him become one of the most in-demand speakers in the UK.
