Richard Gough

Richard is quite simply a legend of Scottish football, having captained Rangers to nine successive Scottish top-flight titles in the 1990s.

As a member of that all-conquering Ibrox side, he also picked up the Scottish Cup three times and League Cup six times.

His professional career started at Dundee United, where he also won a league title in 1983, and he played 61 times for Scotland, including in the 1986 and 1990 World Cups.

In 1999 he rejoined former manager Walter Smith at Everton, where he made 38 appearances before retiring in 2001.
